Master Recycler Program, Portland OR: This group of recycling masters host an excellent plastics recycling event where you can recycle just about every type of plastic. This includes bubble-type packaging, plastic-wrap type packaging, i.e. toilet paper packaging, plastic utensils, lids of all types, plastic flower pots, you name it. It's awesome. Hoard your plastic and bring it to the roundups, they're fun.
Naturescape site for East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District: You can sign up for free classes to learn how to naturescape your yard. I took the basic class and I learned a whole lot about native plants and creating a low impact, low maintanance and beautiful landscaping project.

Miss Massive Snowflake's Myspace: I am proud to support my good friend Shane DeLeon by playing bass in his art-music project Miss Massive Snowflake.
Miss Massive Snowflake Live at the Someday Lounge 11.26.2007: The Someday Lounge is an awesome live music and art venue here in Portland. It is a beautiful smoke-free space in the Old Town section of downtown. All performances are streamed live on the internet as they happen. This show is an archived performance from November 2007. Not everyone has the computer-power to see the video part of the recording. It's not the best video, you can only see Shane, me, and very occasionally David, Caroline or Zac. There are actually five of us playing.
