Jeanne Kennedy Crosby, D.C.: What's Your Problem?

Gall Bladder

(Belmont Street Natural Health)
The gall bladder is a thumb-size organ that operates very closely with the liver, and resides right in front of it on the right hand side of your upper abdomen, just underneath your rib cage. It applies bile to your digesting food so that any fat in the food can be broken down into fatty acids. When the bile starts to get too thick (as in estrogen dominance or iodine deficiency) the gall bladder gets congested and gall stones form. A congested gall bladder makes a person more likely to have digestive discomfort, headaches and migraines, and frequent diarrhea. It can also be related to knee pain, back pain, and shoulder pain.
Treatment for gall bladder problems include spinal adjusting especially at T4, T10, and C4, treatment of the gall bladder acupuncture, lymphatic and neurovascular pulses, and various safe and effective herbal, nutritional and homeopathic remedies.
